Meet Alexandra Prince
Alexandra Prince brings together science, curiosity, and compassion in a way that makes nutrition feel both approachable and deeply personal.
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Alexandra believes the most meaningful health changes happen when people feel understood, supported, and empowered rather than pressured into unrealistic expectations. Her approach blends evidence based nutrition with real life practicality, helping clients build habits that feel sustainable long after the appointment ends.
There is a calm intelligence in the way she works. Thoughtful. Grounded. Inquisitive. The kind of presence that makes people feel comfortable asking questions and confident moving forward.
A Mind That Never Stops Learning
One of the things that makes Alexandra especially unique is her deep passion for science and lifelong learning.
In addition to her nutrition background, she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Biology through Miami University’s Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP), with in person studies taking place at the Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
That combination of clinical nutrition and biological science gives her a broader perspective on health, wellness, and the interconnected systems of the human body. It also reflects something important about who she is:
She is naturally curious.
Always learning. Always evolving. Always seeking a deeper understanding in order to better serve the people she works with.
Supporting the Whole Journey
Clients often appreciate Alexandra’s warm and approachable nature. She creates an environment where people feel listened to, respected, and comfortable being honest about their struggles and goals.
There is a quiet confidence behind her guidance. A balance of professionalism and kindness that helps clients feel supported without feeling judged.
Because meaningful change rarely comes from pressure.
It comes from trust, consistency, and having someone in your corner who genuinely cares.
Rooted in Science, Focused on People
Alexandra earned her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University (FIU) and completed her dietetic internship through the highly respected Mayo Clinic Florida Dietetic Internship Program.
She currently holds professional licenses in both Florida and Texas and provides nutrition counseling to pediatric and adult clients in both English and Spanish through Practical Nutrition LLC.
Her areas of focus include:
- Weight management
- Eating disorders
- Prediabetes and diabetes
- Gastrointestinal (GI) disorders
- Nutrient deficiencies
- General medical nutrition therapy
- Sustainable lifestyle habit development
Alexandra previously worked as a PRN Clinical Dietitian at Baptist Medical Center South, where she gained valuable experience supporting patients across a variety of medical and nutritional needs.
What truly drives her, though, is helping people feel capable again. Helping nutrition feel less confusing. Less overwhelming. More attainable.
Nutrition That Feels Realistic
Alexandra understands that no two people have the same lifestyle, challenges, or goals.
That is why her counseling style is individualized, compassionate, and collaborative. She works closely with clients to create practical nutrition strategies that fit naturally into their daily lives rather than relying on rigid plans or unrealistic restrictions.
Whether supporting a child, helping a family navigate nutrition concerns, or guiding adults managing chronic health conditions, Alexandra focuses on building long term habits that support both physical and emotional well being.
Her goal is not just temporary progress.
It is helping clients create a healthier relationship with food, their body, and their overall health in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
Alexandra’s Philosophy
“Small, sustainable changes often create the biggest long term impact.”
For Alexandra, nutrition is not about perfection.
It is about helping individuals and families build healthier lives with confidence, balance, and support every step of the way.
